Where Chaplin was perhaps the poet of comedy, Buster Keaton was surely the genius comedy mechanic. The entertainer Donimo always reminds me of Keaton - The Great Stone Face. Armed with a dollop of pathos and sheer stage presence, in any other age of show business this entertainer would already be an enormous star. At times Donimo seems capable of moments of genius. Stuck as we are with phoney talented shows, why can’t our friends in television see what acts like Donimo can offer? As ever, I am at a loss. October 24th 2011 Mark Ritchie The Stage

"We had the pleasure of seeing Donimo the silent Comic performing a comedy routine. He presents a Hulot image of an act struggling with wonky props, accidents and innocent ineptitude, with every unfortunate happening a complete surprise to himself. This is a delightful routine of pure variety & Gentle humor". Alan Saddler, Entertainment Critique

"A master technician and as near to a comedy genius as the country has produced in the last ten years, This artist has the potential for Greatness - he engenders sympathy in his most apologist comic persona, and he is of course, Hysterically funny. A sort of cross between Stan laurel and George Carle, Donimo is extremely gifted and very special". The Stage & Television Newspaper

"Out of all the acts that appeared he is the one that I have loved the most He is marvelous and so unique, I adore him. He is one of those acts that you want to see more and more of. Donimo is destined to become a true Star!". Nina Myscow

Donimo is a comic winning the sympathy of the audience through a series of mishaps. In the tradition of Grock - able to perform outstanding feats with an air of surprise at his own daring". Bob Finder - UK Performance today

"After watching all of the competitors, the entire panelof international judges voted unanimously to award Mr. Baker the highest honor of the festival, The Gold Clown. Mr. Bakers performance was artistic and unique. It was also very funny. It was almost as if we had the opportunity to see Buster Keaton or Stan laurel live on stage. His Gold Clown was well deserved". Mark McGuire Spectacle Magazine

"Ce mime a une Veneration pour le cinema burlesque American. Il est le fils spirituel de Stan Laurel et de Buster Keaton. mais ayant travaille sur les places publicques, il se revele egalement un clown populaire, heritier de la tradition du premier comique de piste britannique: Joseph Grimaldi". Festival Mondial Du cirque De Demain

"The biggest cheer goes up for the comical mime artist and magician Donimo eclipsing the rest with his sleight of hand and astonishing physical grace". The List, UK entertainment magazine
